I’m very pleased to announce that I received a research fellowship on Geovisualization at NTNU division og Geomatics.

The project will aid at my study for a PhD and I’m truly looking forward to this opportunity!

Below is the project outline (pdf)  which was the essential part of my application. The theme is Geovisualization following the lines of both the in-depth project and master thesis. A refinement of the project outline is needed, especially to gain concrete focus on project(s) and themes. I’m expecting the project to aim investigating different “radical” visualizations and data management of spatial data. Especially by integrating knowledge from the field of computer science.

I am (as always) very interested in any input regarding this project – so please, do not hesitate to suggest interesting (or non interesting) projects, big or small!
